# Find gift ideas and save search results

Use Gift Ideas or Search to look for a product, then open a result and choose **Add to list**. Review the product and destination list before saving. Discovery options depend on your country.

## Browse or search

1. Open **Gift Ideas** where shown, or use **Search**.
2. Enter a product or gift query, or browse the available ideas.
3. Use the filters offered for your view, such as recipient age, gender or price.
4. Open a result and check its product name, retailer, price and available link.

The US catalog offers browsing and product suggestions. Outside the US, Search can show shops for your country instead; US brand browsing and the list Gift ideas tab may not appear. Changing your country is a profile setting, not a way to guarantee a retailer will ship internationally.

## Save an idea or buy it

Choose **Add to list**, sign in if asked, and select the list you intend to update. Check the list afterward before adding the same product again. If you cannot find a product in search, you can paste the retailer's link or add it manually.

**Buy** opens the retailer's website. Check the current price, stock, variant, delivery and checkout total there. An idea shown in GiftList is not a guarantee of availability or the lowest price.

## Hide an unwanted suggestion

Where a recommendation card offers its three-dot menu, choose **Hide this gift**. Use the confirmation's **Undo** if it was a mistake. Hiding a suggestion does not delete a gift you already saved or remove the product from Search.

A hide within a list's Gift ideas applies to that list; general recommendation hides have a different scope. Signed-in preferences can follow the account, while guest preferences stay on that device. If an older app lacks the menu, use the website.
