RSVP to a GiftList event
Updated
Open the event invitation link and use its RSVP controls to tell the host whether you are coming. Check the event's date, time zone and notes. Precise location details can stay hidden until you respond Going; ask the host if you need the location to decide.
Respond to the invitation
You can RSVP with your name without creating an account or providing an email address. When Show RSVPs to guests is enabled, other guests can see names, responses and plus-one counts. Notes and plus-one names are for the host.
- Open the link the host sent you. If the event asks for a password, request it from the host.
- Check that the invitation is for the event and person you expect.
- Choose the attendance response that fits and complete the details the form requests.
- Add a plus-one only if the host has enabled that option.
- Submit your response and check the confirmation.
If the page reports an error, wait for a successful result before assuming the host received your RSVP. Avoid submitting several separate responses for the same person.
Change a response or ask the host
Return through your invitation in the same browser and use the available response controls. Guest responses are remembered with a browser-stored token; a different browser or cleared browser data may not recognize your earlier response. If you cannot find your earlier response or need a change the page does not offer, contact the host. Tell them which name you used rather than entering a second response under a different name.
Gifts are a separate step
An attached wishlist can help you choose a gift, but RSVPing does not reserve or buy an item. Follow Buy from a shared list to record a gift separately. For event access problems, ask the host for a fresh link and password first.
