Write thank-you cards for gifts
Updated
Use a list's thank-you card tools to work through the gifts and people you want to thank. Review the recipient and message before sending; a purchased mark alone does not prove that a gift has arrived.
Start with the right list
Open your list and its Thank-you cards area. Check which gifts and givers are included. You must use Reveal gifts before starting thank-you cards if purchases are still hidden. This reveals purchase and giver details, so wait until you are ready to see them.
Choose the people you want to thank, select a card design, and write or review each message. Include a detail about the gift or how you plan to use it. Treat any suggested wording as a draft, especially if the giver's name or gift details need correcting.
Check delivery before sending
Confirm each person's name and email where email delivery is available. Read the delivery summary: some recipients may need a link that you send yourself. Copying a link does not send it to that person.
Do not mark a thank-you task complete just because you opened a draft. Check the result of the send or share action and handle any reported delivery failures.
If a gift or giver is missing
Check the correct list and the available filters. A guest purchase or an incomplete record may not supply every detail you need. Ask the giver when necessary rather than guessing an identity or address.
